Shallow Hill is a full service English riding facility west of Columbus, Ohio that focuses on the relationship between horse and rider. We strive to create a low stress environment for students, boarders and our equine companions.

We have something to offer regardless of age and experience level with riding horses. We maintain a diverse group of lesson horses appropriate for most ages and ability levels. The focus is on a quiet environment where the focus is on building a solid foundation for riding in the English saddle.

At Shallow Hill we know what we love and what we love is jumping! There are many ways to enjoy horses, but we focus exclusively on hunters, taught the old fashioned way. We want you to be the best rider you can be and that we focus on one discipline and we don't take shortcuts. We don't offer western, dressage or any other kind of lessons and we will never, ever offer trail rides or any sort of daily/hourly rental.

While we do participate at local shows, our primary focus is on building a relationship between horse and rider. The animals come first, our riders second and everything else after that. We are looking to provide a deeper, more personal relationship with the horses.
